Perhaps, the October Small Railway (MOZD) is a Children's Railway on which
there is no longer plenty of work on reconstruction, therefore the story
about it will occupy less than a page (see links below). It was opened on 28 August, 1948.
Since then it has been shortened some times. But now it is one of the most
"alive" children's railways of Russia. The management of the "big" October Railway does not overlook its need for recruits, and assists in the organization of training of young railwaymen. Each summer the best personnel employees of the "big" October Railway act as seconded instructors on the Small October line.
